Nonno’s Kitchen was born from family, tradition, and the simple belief that great Italian food should feel like home.
I’m Andria, born and raised in New York to parents who were born and raised in Italy. Cooking has always been the language of our family. My father, Domenic, has owned restaurants and businesses in both Italy and New York, and many of them were named after me while I was growing up. The kitchen was where stories were told, recipes were passed down, and generations connected.
Three years ago, my husband and I moved to Katy, Texas with our son, Carmine—Domenic’s grandson and his pride and joy. While we loved our new home, we quickly realized how much we missed the authentic Italian food we grew up with in New York.
So we went back to what we knew best.
My father and I began cooking together in my home kitchen, just for fun. He started teaching me his recipes—the same ones he cooked in Italy and later served in New York. As Carmine played nearby, watching his grandfather cook, I realized how special those moments were.
In Italian, “Nonno” means grandfather, and the bond between my father and my son is something truly special. Those days spent in the kitchen, learning recipes, sharing stories, and passing traditions from grandfather to grandson are what inspired the name Nonno’s Kitchen.
I began selling homemade sauce from my home kitchen to our neighborhood through a local Facebook page. The response was overwhelming. People loved it, shared it, and kept coming back for more. That’s when we knew it was time to open our doors.
Nonno’s Kitchen is a father-and-daughter–owned Italian eatery built on generations of family recipes. Every dish we serve comes from our family table, made the same way it’s been made for years.
This restaurant is for our family, for our community, and for Carmine, so he can grow up surrounded by the same love, culture, and flavors that shaped us.
Welcome to Nonno’s Kitchen.
